  • Feel happier and more confident

How Do You Feel Today Kids Self-Belief Calendar has been created as a fun and uplifting daily activity for you and your child to connect and talk about feelings. Talking about feelings helps you and your child connect and understand each other better so that you both feel closer and calmer. Understanding emotions helps your child to develop emotional intelligence, empathy, compassion and resilience.

Every evening you can take 5-10 minutes together to talk about the ups and downs of the day. Having the opportunity to talk about what went well and what didn’t go so well, provides moments for learning and understanding. There are stickers to represent different feelings which your child can select to show how they felt at certain moments during the day. There are also stickers to help your child match their feeling with something that will help them feel more comfortable.

You can start this calendar at any point during the year!

I can’t recommend this calender enough I am so glad I purchased one. It’s so nice at the end of the day to have that five minute chat and for my 4 year old little boy to express his feelings that day. Also for him to understand it’s ok to feel these things and how we can make them better on a bad day. He gets so excited to go to bed and choose his sticker and stick it on his calender and it’s actually helping him with his numbers. Thank you so much Alison.

Great family calendar 🙂 brightens up the kitchen and reminds us all to connect and talk about how we’re feeling. Kids always love a sticker!

I find using the calendar to be a really useful and fun way for my step-son to talk about and recognise his feelings. Kids have got a lot going on these days with covid and access to so much more content online than we ever did, talking and developing understanding has never been so important. The calendar provides really useful tips to help do this

I just wanted to write a little thank you- and apologies for not writing it sooner 🤦🏻‍♀️. We have been using the ‘calendar’ for a couple of months now, and although we don’t use it every day – as I let my daughter decide when she wants to use it- we have found it a lovely addition to our bedtime routine 🥰. It’s been so simple to use, so it’s not been an issue for her to understand what to do. I feel It has helped so much on her ‘nursery days’ as we often sit and reflect- I can already see her developing a better understanding of her emotions and feelings. Obviously, the stickers are a fab addition and definitely an incentive when we first sat down and did it. We’ve got school coming in sept, so I’m certain this will help with this transition! I Would absolutely recommend this for any child/teenager to develop their emotional intelligence- their carer too!!. I can also see that this would be a great tool to help build confidence and trust between the carer and child. 🥰 thank you again xx
